Tuesday

I got up somewhat late again, had to grab Mewthos a few times for cuddles before getting up. He purrs like a diesel engine when he's in my arms! Yesterday evening he even went to vocalising his purrs as well, he is such a cuddly darling!

Shame that sounds like Janey and Ziva aren't, they just are a little more independent, that's all. Janey is such a love bug when I hold her in my arms, and she always gives me a couple of licks as well, something neither Mew nor Ziva do. And Ziva absolutely loves getting lovies on the kitchen chair - it means I don't have to bend too far down and can actually scratch her ears, her neck and her chin for quite a bit longer than I can play along with her roly-poly's.

I still got to work early. I'm not going to comment about work. Which is a bit frustration, there's really such a lot that could do with discussion - yet, there's really nobody I can discuss anything with. Oh, sure, some stuff I can discuss with our planner - he's a great help! And some stuff I can discuss with my staff - but a lot of it? Sigh, I could write episodes for a show called "You won't believe this ..." I'm shaking my head so often, it sometimes feels like it's come loose!

As always, when someone says they won't talk about something, it tends to be the start of an extensive monologue - so I'll stop here.

At lunch time, I saw mail that the two food products on the ePetstore are back in stock, so I placed an order - hopefully for the month. I hope it arrives before the weekend. Tomorrow is a public holiday, so, based on past experience, it should arrive Thursday, but Friday is also good. The filters are not yet back in stock - I'm wondering whether they'll ever be, since they have never been in stock, when I looked. But maybe requests for notification help getting stock back. On the Fit 32 they had only the one bag 'back in stock', which I took. The Whiskas, I guess, is a more popular product.

Funny thing, in their first mail, acknowledging my request for notification, they actually say "We will send the Hounds of Baskerville with an email as soon as it's back in stock."  Sigh, that is just wrong on so many levels! Firstly, the obvious: sending Hounds to a cat-lover? And then, of course, there is only one hound and it is know as the Hound of the Baskervilles - since it's the legendary hound haunting the Baskerville family. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

On the way home I stopped to fill up the car, it was almost flat empty. I decided to take a look around the stores at the garage, hoping they might have something useful, like milk. Nope, they've got nothing but sweets and cold drinks - a big spacious store with nothing but junk! Ha Ha, well, I took a cheese & tomato croissant (cor, what a waste of a croissant!) for tomorrows breakfast and a plain sliced white bread - since I've already found my toaster, I can have toast tomorrow. And then I also selected a chocolate.

Back at home, my gate was opened, so mippies did not hear me and nobody was in the window sill, waiting for me! But then, I was also a little later than usual. Mippies came zoom, zoom, zooming out quite happily when I opened the passage door, though. And when I took a little too long to come outside, Mewthos came to fetch me.

He had twirlied my jersey onto the bed and he also twirlied my poncho into the bathroom! He's been a busy boy today!

I sat outside for quite a while, then came inside. Since I don't have any more Whiskas Sachets, I spoiled my mippies with three Royal Canin Sachet's tonight! Those bowls are so clean, you'd think I washed them! Only Lady made sure I knew that dinner isn't over until she's got her Whiskas kibbles!

Then I sat and scrolled through my Facebook for a bit - mippies mipped for attention. So I got up and started my own dinner: kebab with the last of the pasta & veggies, which, tonight, I covered with a layer of Parmesan shavings (or fine gratings). Yum yum!

Mippies are napping now, after they've had a fun game of 'catch me if you can' with each other! It's such a pleasure to watch the three of them playing together - not just Mew & Janey, but all three!

Mewly just came to spend five minutes in my arms purring full volume! Then he went to munch a few Whiskas kibbles, now he's on the bed mipping for more cuddles! I had better go hold him ...
