It says a lot about your job, when you're happy it's Friday. Sometimes it's because the work isn't something we like doing, in my case it's the atmosphere from top management. You never know which way the wind blows, there's just no consistency.
Anyway, I'm making good progress on removing one Rocking Chair - I've automated it. What used to take an hour will now take less than 5 minutes. And once I'm wholly familiar with the spreadsheet I created, it'll go zoom, zoom, zoom - just like my mippies, when I open the passage door in the evenings!
On the way home, I noticed a sign 'Cold Fresh Milk' - hmmm, how come I've never seen that before? It'll be worth investigating, milk is my absolute favourite drink, so if I can get fresh milk regularly, that would be just awesome!
When I got home, I was quite tired and decided to just sit in my armchair, watch some episodes of 'Under the Dome' ... Lady Jane had other plans! She came in and mipped and mipped and mipped until I came outside!
The ground was softer than ever, it hadn't just rained, but since there is less sunlight - especially in front of the bench - that the water hadn't evaporated, and the ground wasn't hard again, but still soft. So I started cleaning the area by the bench, I was able to get out roots of some weeds, which had stayed stuck last time I tried! The pile of weeds looks like I'm planning a carrot salad - except that they are not luscious orange.
I worked until it was too dark to see. Mippies came inside early quite happily and I gave them their evening treats. I wasn't very hungry myself, so I just made myself a slice of bread. And then I decided to take a leisurely hot bath! It was really, really good for my body! Just a bit too hot for this time of year, but I worked out that if I wait a little before getting dressed again, my body cools down enough to avoid soaking my clothes - since the bathroom is so large, it's ideal.
And then I watched some episodes till way past my bedtime - it was past nine before I turned it off and went to sleep. I hadn't updated the blog, so I'm doing it this morning.
