Wednesday

I woke up very early but only got up at quarter past five. Mippies were happily playing catch with each other, bouncing off me now and again - and, again, eagerly ran to the front door ... Sigh, I shut the passage door and they went to play in the bathroom. I left early for work, took the old road and decided that it's simply too dark. There are no lights, so, even very early, I had better take the toll road.

Shortly after nine, I quickly drove to the local Spar and got some long life milk as well as salt and pepper. I also got some yeast - who knows, I might get into more baking during the winter?!

Back at home, Mewthos is in the window again - that always makes my day! I let them out, carried in the few groceries then showered, watered the garden and sat down to watch my mippies play. Sigh, Mewthos came mewling and I picked him up a couple of times, but the Ladies? No clue where they went to play!

They all came in on time, though. I opened the tin of Petleys chicken in jelly ... sigh, not a hit! I'm withholding their Whiskas tonight, hoping they'll eat the chicken ... eventually. And before it dries out. Well, at least now I know!

I packed my lunch, fried and ate my dinner and now here I am. Half past seven, so I'm off to sit in my armchair ... hmm, maybe I should make myself an ice cream? Sigh, no, I'm too tired to get up and do that now. It's been a day. So, I'll just sit back, watch an episode of 'Under the Dome' before I go to bed.
