At least I felt okay today, all day. That's about the best I can say. Mippies woke me just before the alarm went off, so I had no trouble getting up when it did. I got to work and ... worked. I'm struggling to juggle doing the actual store & production management while at the same time trying to design systems to facilitate both. Production is in full swing, so I just let everybody get on with it - ha ha! Great leadership, eh?
I had made myself some salad wraps for work as well as the usual bread, and I must say, they made all the difference. I just use a lettuce leaf as a wrap for chopped vegetables. They felt like an energy boost when I ate them! So I made some more for tomorrow.
I got home and Mewthos is in full mewl-mode ... sigh. They were unhappy that they weren't allowed to go outside today - when I arrived and opened the passage door, Mewthos and Ziva shot right past me without so much as a glance ... until they saw the front door shut! That's when I got some glances, and they weren't the nice type.
I went straight into the kitchen and set the steamer going with potatoes and a gem squash, then readied the cauliflower and broccoli to be added later and while that was going I chopped the salad while eating the steak, which I had cut into bite-sized pieces.
When everything was done, I showered - I don't know whether it still shocks or not, I didn't feel like testing. My right hand smells of the rubber glove - I can't get that smell out! Now it's seven and I'm just about ready for bed ... quite tired.
