I woke up at the first alarm and got up five past five. Somewhat early, as I was sitting around waiting for time to go, after I had done everything - like scoop the poo-box. I wonder if mippies will get out through the mesh today? They all know about the dogs by now, even Mewthos, so it should be safe. Nobody watched me leave this morning ... sigh ... I feel neglected!
I've placed the order for the cat food - but I didn't see any Bob Martin litter in their catalog, so I'll hope they have some at the Spar tonight. If not, then I'll hope they'll get some at Pick 'n Pay next week ... Sigh.
This shopping is not working out at all. I think I must go back to shopping only once a month, rather than weekly. Traffic was a nightmare! It always is in that area. People are ruthlessly taking chances and pushing in with no consideration of other road users. It also didn't help that the main junction robot was flashing red in all directions - all day long! I heard on the radio that a Pointsman was killed today.
I think from here onward, I'll start writing a list again and get what I need once a month. I can drive to Pretoria East one Friday. My only concern is the danged litter! Ridiculous, isn't it?
At home it had ... well, not exactly rained, but something wet did come down. Unfortunately, the table had blown over on top of my freshly seeded pots! Fortunately only the Brussel Sprouts had fallen over, the rest were still fine. I didn't have any energy left to water, so whatever had come down will have to do. I showered, gave mippies their treat, ate my own treat: Sushi and now I'm ready to go to bed. Sigh. Poor mippies didn't get much time with me, and they didn't get to go out tonight, either! Tomorrow I'll be home at my usual time again, and they can go out for a bit!
