Let's see what all the fuss is about ...

Why sleep on the bed, when we know where our towel is?

That's the mat I made for Rose's egg basket,
so the eggs don't roll around inside

This was behind some furniture in my bedroom,
the wall underneath that is so damp, it's almost wet!

Craddock.
Opposite KFC

Absolutely swarming with birds!
And the stench! Oh gosh ...

Free State

And then you get to Gauteng ...
a sea of city lights

For those who haven't traveled in Gauteng recently,
this is what these e-toll gates look like

You just drive underneath them, they 'capture' your details
and bill you ... prices vary on time of day, and which day
so you can't really budget - it's a surprise!
Plus, they pop up every couple of km ...

First sunset in my new home

First sunrise in my new home

The tortoise my landlord found in their garden!

MIPPIES! My mippies are home!

Three mips in a shelf!
It's the shelf to the left of my PC, where I sit right now
you can just see the back of Ziva behind Lady Jane

They all love lying in that shelf,
where I can scratch and tickle tummies all the time

Of course there's a pink feather!
It's Mewthos!

I'm sure he had eyebrows when he left PE ...

Mewthos and Lady Jane both LOVE the tap!

I clean the basin ...
... mippies re-decorate, right away!

Lady Jane decorating the luxurious bath!

How much is that dog outside the window?
The one with the waggily tail ...

My bathroom = mippie play room!
How many toys do you count?

Poor Ziva! That's what her neck looked like when I took off the collar!

Mippies home!

Mippie TV!

Under the right basin ...

... under the left basin

Ziva prefers the scratcher

I don't know how she got a cuddle-cave into those curtains,
I had folded them flat!

On top of the world!

Outside?! Should we risk it?

Yes! We risk it!

On the left, the side I worked last Saturday
(before I started)

Mippies! I want to get close ...

This is the little patch I cleaned yesterday
The view from about the middle of the path to my new home. The door opens into the lounge,
on the left, the kitchen window.
In the corner, above the electrical box, under the roof there is a pigeon nest with babies

Under that branch, at the far end, where you can see the corner
(the pole at 45 degrees), that's where I moved the
Nasturtiums!

Doggie Lady just wants to be friends,
Mewthos doesn't trust the friendly overtures ... yet

Right now, that's the center piece of my table outside!

After I cleaned, and planted the Dianthum and Alyssum

Even Ziva is coming to accept Lady ...
notice no bushy tail or spitfire?
