Good night and an early morning! Coffee and off to
work – Mips let me leave without needing to be bribed. There was nothing to do
at work, so I spent the day on Bored
Panda. It started to rain when it was time to leave – this time, however, I
did not get drenched. The downpour only started after I was in my car.
Back at home Ziva was waiting for me, as usual. Since
it was raining, however, she waited for me upstairs and didn’t come to greet me
at the garage as usual. The rain upsets the Mips, though – they go out, come
in, complain about being wet.
I think I may have a teeny problem with our dynamics
here at home. At one point, Ziva stood inside the gate hissing and batting the
Mips to stay out, not letting them come in! I have a feeling, she may be
feeling a bit neglected – not that I truly neglect her, just that she feels it.
So I’m making an effort to give her some special attention – the Mips demand
all the attention they want, Ziva doesn’t. I gave her a few pieces of biltong –
and none to the Mips. They didn’t notice. Now I’ve got Ziva on the chair next
to me.
Drying off Lady Jane is a bit of a challenge, snigger.
Have you ever tried using a white paper towel to dry off a cat that goes
ecstatic at the sight of white paper? She keeps trying to shred it!
When it stopped raining, Romeo showed up for supper!
No friction from or towards my Mips.
