Lock-down Day 360

Very early morning, having my hair pulled when a mip stepped on it! I got up at six. I'm not sure what I want to do today or where I want to start.

Right. I've just spent an hour evicting dust bunnies! Only, when you combine pet hair with dust and spider webs - they mutate! It's not pretty! Now I'm going to wash the floors - working my way backwards, as in: last place I swept, is where I start washing. I've been moving furniture out of the way, so I don't want to have to move it around necessarily ... some call that lazy, I call it efficient.

No, I'm not scrubbing, steaming and deep cleaning - just going for looks. Going through the motions, though I do scrub any visible marks.

Lounge is done. Kitchen done. Bathroom done. Main Bedroom washed, now I just need to sprinkle insect powder and put everything back. Mippies' playroom done. Phew! What a job, though! Four hours!

Half past one, I've washed the dishes, swept the laundry, changed the bed sheets and started the laundry. Towels and bedding. This time, I hung up a fresh towel in the bath, so I don't have to haul my wet arse around to dry off!

Mewthos came to demand brushies. After half an hour, he flopped down in my arms for a
snooze ... when I held up the phone for a selfie, he had not look, he must know what
mommy doing?

Mippies kept wandering around the place, while I was cleaning - not impressed with finding furniture moved out of the way. Now I'm taking a break, and Mewthos comes mewling along ... more brushies! I already brushed him half an hour ago - now he wants more. And more. And more. And more! Anytime I try to give my arm a rest, he mewls for more ... eventually he had his fill and flopped down for a nap ... 

The weather has been nice. Cooler and windy, providing a lovely fresh breeze to dry the floors and keep me cool. Looks like rain is coming - nice! Although that does put a damper on my outdoor gardening. Not really a problem though, since I've got a large collection of plastic bottles to use to start seedlings!

Ziva loves her baby boy, too! Popped in to give him a good wash, now they're curled up
arm in arm.

My day is pretty much shot. Yes, I got a lot done ... and I'm done, too. Mentally, more than physically. Just at loose ends ... again!

I've cleaned the litter boxes, re-filled Smeagol's bowl, taken out all pizza toppings for tomorrow ... now I'm waiting for the geyser to warm up, so I can take a shower. I don't want to even lie down on the bed now, until I've got all the dust washed off me. Unlike my mippies, who LOVE jumping on the bed, covered in dirt!

Right, showered and feeling nicely refreshed. So, I'm definitely not sticking my hands into the ground for gardening, now ... I watered everything that needed watering, and that's my gardening for today. It's going on six, anyway ...

Twenty to seven, mippies are in, mommy is in, all is done, so I'm going to settle down on the bed and treat myself to chocolate ...
