Lock-down Day 340

Headache is still going strong ... sigh. It's a nuisance, but not debilitating, so I'm at work.

Seems I've missed a 'family meeting' last night. Apparently we're back on Level 1 Lock-down from today ... 

I got mail from the fruit juice company, saying that I can use the Pretoria North Postal code, they'll deliver to Rosslyn. Awesome! Because, with fewer and fewer products available in store now, I would have had no alternative but to change brands. And with fruit juice, that's a bit dicey for me - my colon is very selective. Drink the wrong fruit juice and it reacts.

Anyway, my order is placed, I just need to get the banking details, then I can pay tonight. And, of course, this means even less need to drive to a shop! I can cut my Ninapark Spar shopping down to every 2nd month, if not less! Plus, I'll have more variety now. Going to Spar it's always 'I hope they've got' and they have less and less ...

The more I can buy online, the easier it is to budget, too! Oh, and not to mention that the prices from the manufacturer are lower than in-store!

Okay, I think, now I have seen it all! The ruling party of this country is calling for a picket! You have just GOT to be joking ... can't make this stuff up! Who's attention are they trying to get? I mean, government picketing a business? I can only say, that these days, I get most of my exercise from shaking my head in disbelief ...

Nearly end of the day, and my headache is still going strong. A colleague mentioned he's also been feeling a bit under the weather since yesterday - and he's much younger than me. So, I don't know what to think or do.

I've worked out my budget, so I know how much I can spend. Now I want to see how little spending I can get away with! At the end of this month, I want to pump any savings into buying electricity ... as THAT is going up next month!

Back at home, still no sign of Smeagol! I'm getting worried - his food bowl was still half full, too! But there's nothing I can do ...

I wasn't in the mood for heavy labour, so I just sat weeding the pavement out back. It's turning quite green again. I also put on the sprinkler - half my flowers look very thirsty! I kind of hope it's not too late. Mippies came for attention - only Janey didn't show up. Turns out, she had gone outside my garden! But she came running quickly, when I called!

I'm finally feeling better! I've had a bath, and just noticed that I'm finally headache free! Let's hope it doesn't return!

I've had no reply to the last mail regarding my juice order - until I get the banking details, there's nothing I can do ... ah, well! No rush!
