Awfully late morning, followed by the worst traffic on that road, yet! Bumper to bumper from where I get onto Soutpan road all the way to the robot outside Onderstepoort! At the same time, cars overtaking left and right ... it's still a single-lane road!
My grocery delivery has arrived, now I've got bread flour aplenty! This week, I'm also getting cat food and meat delivered. Next week, my garden equipment order should arrive.
Lots of people are posting how a year ago was the last week or 'normal life' and nobody knew it. Very true. Who could have imagined the chaos that started a year ago ... lives, livelihoods and so much more lost. Only China seems to have come out on top, they boast the highest export growth in decades! Makes one wonder ... the virus started in China ...
I forgot to take my potato salad this morning, so I have only bread for lunch. I'm spending my afternoon on my Growing Calendar, where I simply note when to sow which seeds, by month. Another problem I found is that some seeds are labelled with names I don't recognise, so, I'm adding that info, as well. As I'm skip-reading the growing guides, I realise why some of my seeds aren't coming up - but that's why I started the Gardening Journal, it's mostly a daily photo-step-by-step, for the ignorant enthusiast, guide. In the journal, I take photo's every day, which I will later put into a plant-by-plant guide. Once I have some results.
Back at home, I carried on working on that last patch of jungle. I made good progress, I think I just might finish tomorrow night.
No sign of Smeagol, I'm afraid.
That's about all for today ...
