Lock-down Day 612

Sunday, 28 November

Late morning again. Probably due to the cold. Yes, it's quite cold, not even 20 Celsius. And no, that's not a complaint! I'll be suffering in the heat soon enough!

First thing this morning, pay my bills. Well, I don't have any bills, as such. I don't buy anything on account.

Mippies are driving me nuts again, Mini is under my feet non-stop, Mewthos is cuddling his scratcher arch - he loves that! Ziva sits and mips, Janey hops on my lap ...

Worst though, is, when Mini wants milk! I'm standing at the fridge in my shorts and she claws at me ... even gently, claws in the back of your thighs? Ouch! She STILL hasn't completely mastered the claws vs paws thing.

Well, I meant to clean the house today. The weather is in my favour on that - overcast, cool ... but also with the air pressure, that gives me such a headache! I've just made myself pancakes - I can't remember my granny's recipe, so I made South African ones. My granny's had to stand for a while, but these ones you can fry right away. I'm okay with the frying - but I'm lousy at flipping them! So ... what do you call scrambled pancakes? Ha Ha!

Headache is still strong ... feels as if it is getting worse, actually. I'm going to try an Allergex and take a nap - yes, at eleven in the morning!

I woke up an hour later sans headache - and sunshine! And ... I'm afraid ... no energy. So, I just turned over and took another nap. Woke up, had a pancake, took another nap. Repeat all day.

Eventually, of course, I can't sleep anymore ... but I still have no energy to do anything. So, I'm just slouching around, shuffling from lounge, through the kitchen, to the bedroom ...

Smeagol's been around first thing this morning and again just now. Again, more interested in attention than food - though he's eating quite a lot today!

Mippies came in somewhat early - Mewthos is always happy to get food! Now I'm just going to try and go to sleep again ... even though it isn't even seven ... better day tomorrow!
