Not a good night, Mew-larm waited until six to wake me up ... coffee! Milk turned into lumps! Throw out the coffee, start again. Use long-live milk from the shelf.
Late off to work. Major traffic. Late at work.
Reading a few circus articles - I'm really living in a banana republic! Voting was chaotic, unprepared, and many of the so-called 'Independent' official at the voting station, were clearly sabotaging voting! Doing their best to frustrate those who did show up to vote, hoping they would go away without voting!
And just to make things worse: petrol jumped up with a major price increase! I think I'm better off sticking my head in the sand ...
I meant to go to DisChem today, and I'm all set, when I remembered that Tuesdays is teleconference day ... I'll go tomorrow.
Oh, and guess what? Load shedding is back! Pffft!
Back at home, chores, watering and a bit of weeding. I've cleared space for my tomato & pepper plants, moving a lot of Nasturtiums out of the way, and trimming them quite aggressively. I found a flopped melon plant - it tried to push up, the leaves are there, but it's hanging it's head ... completely covered by the Nasturtiums! I tied the Tomato plants, trimmed them a bit ... didn't get very far. I'll carry on tomorrow night.
Back inside ... I'm racing against load shedding! Lights out at 20:00 tonight, for 2 1/2 hours, and again at 04:00 tomorrow morning. They say they end load shedding at 05:00 - but, just in case they don't, I've boiled the kettle and filled the airpot. No need to take chances with my morning coffee!
Well, I've finished THAT shit job. Just in time to go home, too ... I wish I knew what time we're scheduled to be in the dark, today ...
