When I got home, the power was off. It was extremely windy when I drove home ... power poles and trees were blown down.
A house - not near me - was on fire, fire brigade had trouble reaching, as a tree had fallen, blocking the road.
I couldn't log into the website, sms got no response, so I had to call. On hold for an hour! When I hung up, sms reference number came through.
Mippies in, treated, chores ... not in the mood to cook now. I had some cheese, but got everything ready to use the gas cooker tomorrow morning to make my coffee.
Smartphone battery is almost finished ...
Won't know whether they fix the power, as we're load shedding from 8 to midnight and again from 4 to 8.
Sigh ...
