Late morning. Just because. I was feeling lazy.
Still am - feeling lazy, that is. This might be a good time to order the produce - which I didn't get around to last week.
Ah! Internet isn't playing along ...
I spent over an hour now, first cleaning up the Thyme plant in the pot, then cutting Thyme and Rosemary, then picking the leaves off each and lastly chopping them for use.
Almost eleven, dough is on the go and I'm busy frying the patties.
Done. Now I have half an hour's wait until the bread dough is done ... let me try shopping again.
Dang! Can't remember the password! Ah well, I'll do it tomorrow.
Almost one, and almost everything is done. Stew is on the go, kitchen is clean, all I still need to do is bake the rolls - oven is heating up right now.
Have you noticed a change in my weekend attitude, by the way? Well, I've been working on it for a while - and I seem to be succeeding! All I did was to stop running the complete list of 'must do's' in my head all day long ... I make a plan once per weekend. Period. The rest of the weekend, I stay in the 'here and now'. Whenever my mind tries to depress me with the long list of 'musts' ahead of me, I force it back into focus on what I'm busy with right at the moment.
The only time I allow my mind to run through all to do's, is between tasks. When I think about what I'd like to do next - since I do have to allocate a kind of time. If there's still a to do ahead, I just need to know how much time I can spend on what I do next.
Well, I spent an hour or two collecting poppy pods - I offered to the neighbours, nobody wants any, ha ha! Then I carried on clearing my view! Doesn't it look good?
Winter is about the only time I can really make any progress. Once it starts to rain, I barely manage to keep up with the weeds and mowing!
Internet is on the frizz again, so whenever it works, I'm just going to publish ...
