Thursday

Early morning. Coffee. Cuddles. Brushies. Cuddles. More coffee.

Work.

I spent the first hour on LinkedIn. I don't really know how that works ... I rarely ever open it, these days.

Just past eight my Takealot order arrived. Nice! Lots of toys for me to play with! Also a new Hygrometer, mine finally broke last weekend.

I updated my cat food delivery schedule - they are currently going through the Iams like there's no tomorrow!

At work, internet went down. Soon afterwards, server unavailable. So, I went to get groceries.

I've decided that it's time to stop the weekly stew. It's getting too hot. Instead, I'm going to try a weekly ... I  guess it would fall under salad? Sounds too healthy for what I have in mind, haha. Basically a lot like stew, just with a sauce and to eat cold. Sauce akin to mayonnaise. I haven't decided yet, but will be trying something this weekend.

They had mushrooms on special today. I took some. But the 'special' on bell peppers? Exorbitant! I hope to grow some again.

New Gardner magazine is out, took one. Then just milk and cigarettes. They only had 9 packs. Took the lot.

OMG! Eskom states that load shedding could escalate to Stage 15! Stage 15! The highest Stage currently scheduled is Stage 8! That's 2 or 4 hour blocks three, four times a day! Which could be as much as 14 hours in total! That's only 10 hours a day WITH power!

The current Stage 4 has us off 3 x 2 hours most days = 6 hours a day. Stage 8 is more than twice that!

Anyway. I went and opened my boxes - seriously: 9 boxes! Ridiculous! Anyway, I took out my new pens and started trying them out. I don't know, but I don't like this new 'gel' used in pens these days. Although some of them don't smudge - it does, however, wash off.

I tried out my chalk pens on my bin. I have a bin I use on the scale for counting. Whenever anyone uses the scale - I always have to go look for my bin afterwards! Now it has my name on it. Though I don't have much hope for that, as I once had a red bin - unique - and even THAT disappeared!

I think the chalk paint would work great in labelling the store shelves!

Ah! Work internet seems to be back!

Back at home, it takes me the whole evening to unpack. Well, not the whole evening, just until dark. I set up my new Hygrometer, unpacked everything and packed everything away. Brought in mippies, treated them, then set up my new table! It's surprisingly big! Some reviewer claimed it was the size of an A3 sheet - nonsense! I'm very happy with it!

I enjoyed a T-bone for dinner - mippies didn't even want to share, ha ha! Now I'll take a shower, then settle down for the night ...
