Load shedding Morse

Like Morse code ... when the lights are on you dash around, when they're off ... dotty. Last night we were informed that Stage 5 will continue until Saturday 05:00 - we'd be told Friday afternoon what the plan would be for the rest of the weekend and next week ...

Today we're off 10:00 - 12:30 and again 18:00 - 20:30. Last night it was almost quarter to seven, before they switched us off. On the one hand, it's good for refrigerated foods - but that's all. Since it can go off anytime, it's not a smart idea to try to start anything ...

At least today I'll be home from three, so I can turn on the geyser and have a bath tonight! But tomorrow morning, in Stage 5, we're scheduled to be off 02:00 - 06:30! I've been waking & getting up before five every morning - if I get up early tomorrow morning, I won't be able to make myself coffee!

If they change to Stage 4, power should come on at five ... half past, at the latest. So, I had better decide tonight, whether I want to make my coffee tonight or haul out the gas bottle tomorrow morning?

Fruit juice arrived! Well in time! The delivery guys tell me that a lot of people are complaining about service ... with only 4 days wait, I'm one of the lucky ones!

On the way home, I got meat. They have beef and he'd made hamburger patties, so I decided to try them. He also had meaty bones to add to my stew, and I got a chicken.

Back at home, I just pottered about, then cleaned the rose beds ... bath ... no dinner, as I wasn't hungry ... early night.
