I woke up just after two - the pork and my insides decided to part company. Having got up, I knew I'd get up only after power had returned.
And so I did. My insides hadn't evicted all the pork I ate last night, so they're having a bit of a party ... not the fun kind.
Well, I'm getting started for the day. I've loaded the washing machine, turned on the geyser ... I have plenty of time, no need to rush.
This is what I achieved yesterday.
Today, though ... not so much. More like: nothing! Well, the laundry is done and the kitchen is clean. I also deep cleaned mippies water fountain again. Then I sat and collected more poppy seeds. They're popping like crazy! The whole veranda is covered in seeds!
Two o'clock came and went. No power. Half past two, I feared it might be an outage ... it's not. Load shedding escalated to Stage 5, while I wasn't looking. Instead of 2 hours, we're off 4 hours ... and now we have power for only 4 hours ... off again at eight.
At least tomorrow has no surprises. Same hours as at Stage 4. But there's talk of going to Stage 6! Sigh ...
Dang ... quarter to eight ... I'll be taking my bath in the dark tonight ... Just lost track of time!
