Not the earliest of mornings, again. Quickly got started what needs electricity ... load of laundry which came out of the chest of drawers.
No use starting dough or anything else, so I'm just waiting till the power goes off and comes on again ...
I spent the time cleaning out the top drawer and repacking it. I'm using some empty Royal Canin boxes to organise the drawer ... The plan in my bedroom is to make it easy to clean. I want to be able to sweep and wash the floor without having to move too much furniture around.
That corner where the chest of drawers stands is the one corner I haven't cleaned since the flooding. The drawers were also still 'just stuffed' when I moved in - never arranged nor sorted. Next mission will be the wardrobe in my bedroom.
It's really unusual for me to take such a long time to truly settle in; I'm usually completely unpacked and settled within a month - whereas here, I've been squatting in most rooms. Basically, it's the garden - I've never had such a huge garden, in such a bad state! PE was just a warm-up ... that gardening was by choice. I could have left it alone, but this one? Well, okay, for starters I have to mow the lawn myself ...
Well, kitchen is clean - again - just waiting for the oven to heat up, so I can bake my rolls. Everything else is done.
Aaaand load shedding continues ...

Well, no interference with my coffee nor dinner & hot baths!
Right. Some stray just waltzed into my kitchen and started munching on my hamburger patties! How do I know it wasn't one of mine? Because Lady Jane is hiding atop the fridge!
Well, even though there's no load shedding scheduled until midnight, I don't have any energy do to much ... nor am I motivated ...
