Funny thing, it's Saturday and I'm NOT up at half five - instead, I'm up at six. Typical, eh?

Taking it easy today ... with the constant deadlines dictated by Eskom ... well ... not really leisurely, is it?

This morning we were off from 02:00 - 05:00! We changed from Stage 5 to Stage 4 at five. Neighbour reported outage at twenty past three, he must have got confused with the schedules. We're off again from 10:00 - 12:30 and again 18:00 - 20:30.

Tonight from midnight to 02:30, tomorrow 08:00 - 10:30.

I had managed to hang up the laundry and clean the kitchen before the power went off. When it did go off, I started cleaning my bedroom. I'm thinking of re-arranging it again, I'm still not happy with it.

I prepared roast chicken, just before the power came on. It's in the oven, now. I cut some red cabbage, celery and some potatoes.

Internet is still on load shedding ... doesn't want to go higher than one bar. So, no use writing, when I can't be sure I'll be able to save ...

Almost time for the next period of darkness. I'm not in the mood for much, nor have much energy ... just plodding along. The chicken was delicious ... well ... might as well publish ...
