Lock-down Day 273

Good night, late morning, coffee, mippies out ... game time. Down to 3 bars internet signal, so ... a little slow, but okay.

Ziva is staying by my side today, no dashing outside the gate! Not sure about Janey, though. Well, I have no indoor chores holding me back ... but I'm slow to get started. By about ten, I went outside - which, of course, is strong sun time. I went outside the gate and cleared about five bins right outside my gate. It looks a teeny bit better - I'll have to do that again, either this afternoon or tomorrow. For now, I'm moving to the partition next to the gate. I can start in the shade, and then get the gazebo.

I've cleared everything that was in the shade - weird thing, in the same spot I get a hot and a cold breeze! I tried carrying on for a while, but ... not good. Sun: bad! So I've just put up the gazebo. It's only twenty past one ... doesn't feel like I've been working three hours already!

It was cloudy, turning overcast as the day progressed, which led me to loose track of time. I worked that partition until well past five! Not much to show for it, though. Well, the area is covered with crap! Never mind just a few weeds, thorns, creepers, but also a horrid, tough, creeping type of grass! Even worse than Kikuyu! Taking that into consideration, my progress doesn't sound that bad anymore, does it? Well, I'm happy with what I've achieved!

It was around six, that I started mowing. Again, it doesn't look like much, but I'm happy with my progress! I worked until past seven, Smeagol showed up, I filled his bowl again, he hung around - again. That was before I started mowing. When I was finished, he's still around. Not sure what to make of that, so I just keep an eye to prevent any fighting.

Showered, dinner, and it's past nine in the evening! I'm absolutely knackered, so ... bed ...
