Lock-down Day 249

I woke up sometime after one, not sure why. Got up, and applied more After-Sun to my back. Particularly the delicate area under my shoulder blades, on the outer side. That area is not used to getting sun, at all, so 'a little burned' becomes ruby red and painful.

As a result, I woke up a little late this morning. Not to worry, but then the traffic was also really, really bad on the Soutpan Road! Turns out that the traffic police are busy - I think their focus is on taxis, particularly those using the shoulder and the oncoming traffic lane to bypass the queued traffic. Good! That is really, really endangering all of us! Especially as they see no reason to move out of the way of oncoming traffic! Oh, they start moving to push their way back into the queued traffic - but if that isn't moving, it isn't moving!

Anyway, at work, At had dropped his lighter in my car, when he got out - he spent a lot of time looking for it at home, but I found it on the floor of my car!

At work, I am now getting to the year-end fatigue ... disheartened, listless, just wanna go home. Work gets done, and I'm doing it.

Back at home, mippies fountain is almost empty, so I take this opportunity to clean it. It's not very dirty, though. Janey is in attendance and starts drinking from the water I'm pouring into the fountain! She can't wait until the fountain fountains again, ha ha!

Then I clean the litter boxes before moving into the garden. I start by re-mowing the portion out front - which doesn't take much time. And then I move back into the bed at the back. Yikes! It's hard going - and not exactly easy to reach. I'm doing a lot of damage to plenty of succulents coming up everywhere - but that can't be avoided. It's one time only, to get those creeper roots out! Next year, I'll have only weeds to deal with - not that horrid creeper as well. Well, there will be some, but nowhere near as much as there is now!

I cook my planned dinner, mippies are unhappy about the vegetarian diet tonight, ha ha! Shower, bed. Mippie cuddles!
