Lock-down Day 257

Migraine. The End.

Well, not quite. I had hoped the headache would have cleared up this morning - I even left the ceiling fan off, to avoid that making it worse - no luck, though. I woke up with a full migraine. Turned over. Woke up again - no change. Only ... that was ten to eight! Messaged work, made an effort to eat something, then had my migraine cocktail and back to bed.

When I woke up again, I was feeling a lot better. Ate some more, had coffee and went back to bed. Power went off.

It was near noon when I woke up again. Finally, a clear head! Still feeling run down, tired, listless, though. I ate again - still my 'loaded' bread. Turned out quite good - though it won't last very long. I've put it in the fridge, but I better finish it soon!

I decided to go into the garden, that always lifts me up. Started by weeding the herb garden, then got irritated and pulled out every last of the tall weeds covering it. Took a bit of carrying them all to the compost heap, but the ground is very soft, so they came out without much effort! Then I carried on weeding until I could plant the Rosemary. It's finally in the garden - though ... I may have left it a bit too long.

I can tell that that bed has been properly cleaned at one time - none of the weeds have very deep roots. I also found a few of those thorns in there, but they clearly are a new arrival! It's received less attention recently, though ... Interesting, what one can tell about a place just by digging around the garden, eh? Oh, and I found the obligatory toy car!

It's nearly six, I've showered but I'm tempted to go back into the garden ... but I had better not. By the way, that deep cut on my right index finger? Pretty much healed - just looks like a little scratch now!

Well, tomorrow night it's me and the lawn mower again. Just maintaining what I've already cut, to avoid it growing too tall again. It's sort of become a matter of pride now: too many people have been telling me how it's too much for me to manage on my own. Now I want to prove them all wrong, ha ha! I hope I won't be eating my words one of these days, eh?

When I've re-mowed the cleared patch, I've decided to tackle the partition at the front next. So that from the outside, the garden looks maintained. You'd have to come inside to see that I've mowed only half the lawn, ha ha!

Well, now we're at: The End. I'm still tired, it's just going on seven - I had another slice of my bread for dinner, fried in eggs - and I feel ... no energy. So, brushies, cuddles, watching an episode ... sleep ...
