I woke up relatively early, but stayed in bed until the power came on.

As I was having my smoke, I saw a black and white patch just behind my fence. Smeagol! I called, he lifted his head - just seems to like it there. I was worried, at first.

Off to work ... almost no traffic! Nice!

I noticed on Sunday, when I was cleaning out and setting up my shelf greenhouse, that - apparently and item was missing from my delivery. I had ordered a tray to hold peat pellets ... I was going to investigate, but hadn't got around to it - when I received a message that my delivery is due tomorrow! Mystery solved, time saved.

Okay, so tomorrow's load shedding is 02:00 - 04:30 & 10:00 - 12:30 & 18:00 - 20:30.

No problem in the morning, but no hot water in the evening. And if it continues, no hot water Thursday night, either.

Just got a photo of Charlie - aka Earl. Janey's twin brother. Apparently he's fine, but fat, ha ha!

He looks more like Mewthos now, than Janey, doesn't he? His colouring seems to be softer, more grey - Janey's is still stark, dark.

Twenty past four, I think I'll just mentally call it a day. Body can stay here, but the mind is off duty.

Sigh ... Purchase order signed ... better send them off. Now.

Done. Five to five ...

Back at home ... landlord's been busy! Ground's been dug up everywhere, water hoses buried, sprinklers installed - and they've been on today! Found another 3mm 'rainfall' in my gauge.

He also brought a brush cutter and cut down the jungle section, as well as the right hand in the front - cutting down everything indiscriminately ... rose bush, gooseberry bushes ... everything ... and I'll have to rake it up.

Not tonight, though, everything is soaking wet. I just put my plants back, by the car port, put the pots back and cleaned up a little. A lot of work ...

Aaand load shedding ramped up to Stage 4! Immediately! So ... tomorrow 02:00 - 04:30 & 10:00 - 12:30 & 18:00 - 20:30! Grrr! To continue ... who knows how long ... I'm getting really, REALLY tired of this shit!

With power going off again at eight tonight, I rushed through everything! I fried everything I had planned for the week, as the six-to-eight evening outage is set for the next 3 days. I decided that I'll turn on the geyser again tomorrow morning, so I can take a shower first thing, when I get home tomorrow evening. That also means that I can't do any work in the garden ... not in this heat, AFTER having showered!

Right now, I've plugged in everything to charge, showered, now I'm having dinner ... twenty minutes to eight ... 

Smartphone is still only at 74%. I turn it on 'flight mode' while I charge it, to speed up the charging ... This is just sooo frustrating!
