I was surprised to see the power on, when I got home! Load shedding was from four to six - I got home around half past five. I'm beginning to wonder, whether I should mention that to our Councilor? Load shedding is implemented to prevent total grid collapse ...
No trouble with any mippies coming in last night. Lady Sybil didn't even go out. Everybody is back to growling and hissing at the poor girl. She still timidly approaches for play or lovies ... then runs away. So I need to give her the attention she craves and deserves ...
Mewthos was extremely difficult last night. Restless. Mewly. Demanding. Irritating, ha ha! I did spend a good deal of time with him.
Internet came on a bit late, and I took time to watch some news. Political videos. I try to listen to all sides ... Last night I tried watching an interview with Gwede Mantashe. Yeah, tried. He's an ass! I couldn't watch that for long. He doesn't answer questions, he babbles on trying to convince voters that the ANC is the best party ... even the interviewer was getting frustrated.
Having watched our new mayor give updates on the power outage, I decided it would be interesting to see our Minister of Electricity give his report ... you know what? The mouth is flapping, but the brain isn't involved. Not one single point made. Just lips flapping, babbling along, looking serious ... useless!
Aaand no Stage 3, we're on full-time Stage 5 Load Shedding now! Which means, at home, power off from eight to twelve! 4 hours!
Just before one, cat food arrived! I've also got a message that my Takealot order is out for delivery today. I've bought electricity ... still need to solve that banking issue for online purchases, though.
I also still need to get in touch with Sir Fresh. Just not in the mood now ...
Not even half an hour later and my Takealot delivery is here, as well! Cool!
Aaand at four we welcome back Stage 6 Load Shedding! No effect on me, personally - power off tonight from four to six, and tomorrow morning from six to eight. So I can actually listen to an audiobook on PC! Watch an episode or two tonight!
Since I can't be sure to have internet, though ... I'll publish before I leave work.
