LS 4 3 6 Monday

I woke up quite early, got up, had coffee and my morning smoke. Four mips joined me - Sybil on my armrest, Ziva on the ottoman, Mewthos on the scratcher and Janey at my feet. Mini opted to sit and sulk on the chair by the front door.

It just amazes me how Sybil just does not give up on approaching my mippies for lovies. She's gently snuggling her way closer to them - and doesn't let all the hissing and growling deter her. Mind you, I give her plenty of attention and cuddles. She's a bit too much under my feet, though - I have on several occasions sent her sliding across the floor! Fortunately I've developed the cat lady shuffle, where I don't lift my feet too high off the ground, so I don't accidentally step on a cat. And I wear soft shoes indoors, so there's no harm to Sybil. I never take big steps, either.

Okay, here the photos I couldn't load over the weekend:

Huge mushroom I harvested for my dinner!

I was just chilling on my bed, Sybil behind me,
when I placed my hand near her, she placed her paw on my hand!

And this is how the breadbox (left) fell off my fridge. Mewthos and his sister Janey.

The most successful Rösti so far!

Sybil is still at that age where she can sleep in any position,
upside down is fine!

So now you're all caught up on my photos!

As I feared, I'm now getting harassed by SARS about my tax returns. Not today, though. I'm not in the mood.

Aaand load shedding going up again! Not Stage 4, but Stage 6 tonight! No difference for us tonight, I'm relieved to say - we're scheduled to be without power from six to eight tonight! But tonight, power off from midnight till four ... Sigh ...

Well, twenty to five, time to publish. I'll have to hustle tonight, as I first have to feed the ferals, then heat my dinner ... and there's load shedding en route, so I'll be delayed ... and load shedding starts at six. I'll have less than half an hour. Sigh ...
