Lock-down Day 80

It's definitely winter! Urgh! Too cold to get out of bed early. Even at eight it is still unpleasantly cold. Not my favourite time of year. Mippies don't seem to care, though - they happily rush outside into the cold ... weirdos!

I boiled myself two eggs for breakfast, nice and soft, and ate them over an open bread roll.

I found the mouse, too. It's in the shower - half eaten. Sigh. At least that's easy to clean. It will go into the compost bin.

Well, I've uploaded the rest of the photos I took in April last year. I've also uploaded the few photos I took in May last year. And finally the first photo's of my little Mini! Mini's first month with us - July. And the few photos I took in August

And that's what I did all day today. I've selected photos - finished 2019's photos, then went month by month editing each selected photo, cropping and optimizing (= reducing the size). I didn't take many photos since Mini arrived, I'm afraid - I re-started snapping like crazy again in September. So that'll take a lot of time again, before I'll be ready to upload them. Hopefully not over a year again, though!

Tomorrow I'll have to do some kitchen duty again, though. If there's time after that, I can maybe work on more photos. I haven't even eaten anything but breakfast and a muffin today.

Mippies came in without trouble, Ziva was a little late, but not very. Mewthos decided to play catch again - I've come to realise that, if I play along, he goes to sleep soon enough.

I've been freezing my butt off all day - and not even a hot bath to look forward to. Sigh. I've been drinking hot chocolate all afternoon - and recycling it almost as fast as I drink it, ha ha! Now I'll enjoy a hot foot spa, that'll warm me up a treat. Then I curl up under the duvet with my mippies warming my feet. Just a little problem: woolen jerseys don't go well with cats! Sparkles quite a bit! Maybe tomorrow I'll look for an alternative to warm me. I also think I should maybe add the feather duvet to my night warming - with mippies on my feet, I haven't felt the need. Yet.
