I did not sleep well, I woke up around half past twelve. So, I got up, fed mini - man, that little thing can sure pack it away! Then I had some milk and tried going back to sleep. Small problem: four cats have settled on my bed. There's not all that much space for me to fit - and what little space there is, is not exactly comfortable! Ha Ha!
The good news is, though, that all four cats are now sleeping on the bed! Janey and Ziva were cuddling together, the mini next to my head and Mewthos had come to lie snuggled by my tummy! He loves the soft bits! Ha ha ha! He was sleeping almost next to mini, only my arm separated the two!
Predictably, I had some trouble getting up this morning. I decided to cut short the coffee and litter-box cleaning ritual so that I'd get to work on time. Which I did.
Not much to tell about work, except that I'm really busy. I barely get time for anything else. At least the internet is back.
I must not forget to go and get the milk I had booked, on my way home tonight. I'd normally be going on my monthly grocery trip tomorrow - it's mid-month - but I'm not running short on anything, so I decided to postpone to next Friday.
This weekend, I'll need to order more kitten and cat food and I'll also order whatever groceries I can get online. This month, at least, I won't need too much. Mostly cat litter, cigarettes, oh, and chocolate! Lots of chocolate, I'm sorry to say.
I got my milk, happy weekend! At home, first Ziva, then Mewthos came to the kitchen window. I let the big ones out and fed the mini. And fed the mini. And fed the mini. Yup, I filled her bowl over and over. Then I went to sit outside until my mippies were ready to come inside. Ziva was somewhat reluctant, but came in eventually.
After she'd eaten, for some reason, Ziva threw up ... well, it was true projectile vomiting: She stood on top of the counter and spewed onto the mat around the litter box - quite a distance, though gravity was key.
Right now, I hear mippies playing with their track - last time I checked, it was the mini (who absolutely LOVES the toys!) playing with Mewthos! With, yes! Earlier I even saw Janey playing with the mini. Not yet happy friendly playing, but there is contact. I think all my cross-cuddling is finally paying off! I make quite an effort mixing their scents by rubbing one cheek, then another. I get snarled at quite a lot, but it's worth the effort.
There has been no progress on my PC, and I'm a bit miffed about that - after all, all I'm asking to the specifications I'll need to order parts. I've decided if I don't get anything by tomorrow, I'll take the PC home and try to figure it out myself.
And now it's only half past seven, so tonight I'll just sit back, watch an episode or two and cuddle mippies. Last night was somewhat too social for my liking, first chatting with my landlord while I was outside, then with my landlady inside and last on Facebook with a fellow who wants my blessing to leave my fellowship. lol. Yes, I gave it - after all, it IS just a game. But it would be nice if someone, perceiving the shortcomings of the fellowship, opted to do something about it, rather than simply jumping ship. I sometimes wish I could go back to being 'just a fellow' without any of the add-on's which come with being leader. Maybe I should have opted to jump ship, a year ago ...
