I overslept somewhat and got to work about five minutes late. Oh, I woke up on time, just made the mistake of turning over - silly me!
Work's been busy, as every Monday, and we had the Findings of the Disciplinary ... honestly? Firstly, no notice or meeting was scheduled - I was in the middle of the handover of that store cupboard when I got told 'Now'. And the Findings? I think I had better not comment.
Back at home, mippies had an exciting evening! I'm guessing a strange cat came strolling in and settled under my car - it was too dark to tell for sure. I saw a cat outside the gate and crawl under my car. I thought it was Lady Jane, but the way Mewthos and Ziva were watching told me I was wrong.
A little later, Lady Jane came strolling along, Mewthos and Ziva didn't move, they continued to stare under the car. Mewthos came strolling to where I was sitting - but not his usual happy, mewly stroll, but a guarded stalk, similar to when he's approaching prey. We sat and watched - I couldn't see anything, though - until it was time to come in. Tonight, I had to make the call - mippies were busy watching, with Mewthos growling.
Mewthos and Lady Jane came inside, but Ziva decided she would go and deal with whatever was under my car - I did not wish to have to clean wounds, though, so I asked her to come in, which she did ... only, now Lady Jane came back out and wouldn't budge. She stood behind the car sniffing the ground excitedly. I had to give up and hope she'd follow - which she did.
And now it's time for cuddles followed by sleep.
