Monday

And just like that, it's Monday again! Woke on time, left on time, arrived late. How? A bus had broken down in one of the four lanes just before the killer robot (Oh, that sounds like a science fiction movie, doesn't it? But in South Africa we call traffic lights robots). As a result, traffic was queued all the way back to the off-ramp! The last two km took me twenty minutes!

Work is it's usual Monday morning chaos. Why we can't be prepared for the deliveries, I'll never understand! At least making the Delivery Notes is a lot faster now - I'm still finding a few ... not exactly glitches, but wrinkles that I need to iron out. Going from a manual-typing system to using a formula always means that there used to be 'special data' which the formula doesn't know about - because I don't know about it.

Oh, and then we had some fun hunting down some missing stock! Turns out that it's 'missing' because we never received it! Accuracy is still an issue - you can't erase three years of 'nothing matters, nobody cares' easily. It's the 'unlearning' of negligence and carelessness that's posing the real tricky part.

Back at home, I had the last of the Pizza outside. No need to make anything for dinner, so I just made my lunch. Can't wait to taste my wholemeal bread!

And then, mippies mipped for attention. So I've just spent half an hour in the cuddle cave with Ziva on my left and Mewthos on the right! It's nearly eight now, so I'll just go back to our cuddle cave ...
