Sunday

I woke up just before the alarm went off, but, since I had left the phone by the PC, I couldn't snooze it - though I could ignore it quite happily! It's quite cold in the mornings, now, so when I don't have to, I don't like getting out of my warm, snug bed until temperatures have risen a bit.

Well, mippies don't worry about temperatures, so I let them out around twenty past six. I made my coffee but sat inside to enjoy it. Janey didn't approve of that and came to insist I join them outside.

I took the dough out of the fridge and made myself two rolls - only to find that my baking tray doesn't fit into the oven here! Sigh. Well, fortunately I have some of my mum's cake forms, and one of them has a separate bottom, so I'm using that. I'm still letting the dough rise for now. I've also cleaned the Bread Maker, so I can start with my wholemeal bread any time I feel like it.

All three mippies are back inside again - they were out for about an hour. I'm being mipped at to play or cuddle, not sure which.

I've cuddled mippies till they ran away! They were not happy that I wouldn't share my breakfast with them, though. The rolls came out lovely!

I'm feeling lazy today, no wonder after yesterday's hyper activity, eh? Well, I've just put a load of bed sheets in the machine with another load ... when I feel like it again. Mewthos and Janey helped getting the sheets off, ha ha! And now Mewly is curled up on the uncovered feather duvet (since that cover is in the machine right now). They go rolling around in the dirt and then come jump onto my bed - no wonder I need to wash my covers so frequently!

Well, the wholemeal bread is in the machine and I've got a tray of muffins baking in the oven. All I still need to do today is the Buletten.

Sigh, I need to spend some more time playing my game, since the person who had been continuing my 'duties' as Archmage is now unable to continue - and I promptly got so involved that I managed to burn my muffins! Tsk, tsk.

Funny how, on a Sunday, five o'clock comes right after two o'clock! Happens every time! One minute I check the time and it's only two - still plenty of time. And then, suddenly it's five and I'm rushing to get the last task(s) done!

At half past one I decided to take a bath, hoping I'd feel somewhat better afterwards. I took a long, hot bath ... a little too hot, since I felt a bit faint afterwards. At least I know that my blood pressure isn't too high, ha ha!

And then it was five o'clock, so I started the mad dash in the kitchen. I started making the Buletten - all done and yummy - simultaneously washing the dishes. Which was a LOT! All my trays, for one: baking tray, muffin tray, pizza tray ... And half-way through the dishes, that strange cat appeared again and all my mippies started behaving oddly, so I got them inside. They had to wait for their usual treats until I had finished in the kitchen, though.

Now, Mewthos is on his guard-post again - he loves sitting by the window growling at anything that moves ... yet, when the door is open, he's usually the first dashing inside at top speed! Bushy tailed!

I've put the Buletten on a plate in the fridge, for now. I think I'll have one or two for dinner tomorrow night, then I can pack them and freeze them. I'm taking the second half of the Pizza to work tomorrow - my wholewheat bread will have to wait till Tuesday, before I get to taste it.

But, the machine is all clean and ready for another load - anytime I'm up to loading it! I'm in for an interrupted night tonight - I didn't drink enough during the day, so I got quite thirsty and have had rather more than usual this evening.

Well, I'm off to cuddle mippies before going to sleep ...
