With all that rain yesterday, today is a perfect day for gardening! It's not exactly clear skies and sunny, but very little chance of rain. The ground is soft, my tenant is already digging a bed for his vegetables ...
That was just past seven this morning. I went into the garden and pretty much worked for ten hours! I finished cleaning the succulent bed.
Looks good, doesn't it? I trimmed a LOT off the flowering bunch that's most prominent in that whole bed. I tried to clean some of the creeper off the fence ... until I got stung! Turns out there's a wasp nest hiding in there ... sigh ...
And guess what! Those little jelly beans are flowering! I didn't even know they could! Arent' they cute?
Oh, and I was able to take a better photo of the kittens this morning:
They're cute, too, aren't they?
Then Smeagol attacked Ziva! Quite savagely ... I chased him all around the house, I was very angry! His indoor privileges have been revoked. Poor Ziva spent the rest of the day hiding in the wardrobe! I haven't even been able to examine her, yet.
Well, I finished the bed out back as well, and then cleaned the Vinca bed again. So, yeah ... I worked hard. Took full advantage of the rain soaked ground! Now I'm going to take a bath ... and that's it for the day ...
Oh, and that 'no load shedding' tomorrow? Cancelled! Staying on Stage 2 ... indefinitely ...
