Another night of insufficient sleep. Again couldn't fall asleep till past midnight. Same reason = my own fault. Around midnight, however, some animal in the roof became active - it sounded like something with paws, not talons or anything else bird-like. I suppose I'm going to have to try and have a look in the roof one of these days ... but for that, I would need a full ladder. Not just the 3-step ladder I should receive on Friday. Sigh.
This morning, I got up somewhat late. Made myself coffee - after treating mippies - and then sat at the PC to drink my coffee ... only to pour it over the table, the floor and myself! I didn't look properly when I put it down. Sigh. Wiping the table, wiping the floor, hanging my cushion up to dry ... nothing I can do about my work pants, though. It's not Monday, is it?
Mippies also mipped me awake during the night - it seems that they believe, since I'm not really sleeping, I might as well be there for them! They do tend to step on some delicate places when they stroll across me ... on the whole, though, they do seem much happier in our new home! More relaxed, well, they are feeling a bit cooped up now - not sure why, though? They've got plenty of space and everything they need inside. Well, they get to go outies on Saturday!
It's nearly five and my produce delivery hasn't arrives. Ah, well. Maybe tomorrow!
Back at home, Mewthos is awfully mewly! So much so, my good humour is evaporating! I came home in such a good mood, I was singing and humming ... and then I was shouting at Mewthos to Just. Be. Quiet! Honestly!
I've treated them, done my evening chores, showered and now I just want to relax. Fortunately my cushion is dry, so I could put it back to sit on.
Well, I'm just going to relax and scratch or brush any mippies within reach ...
