Lock-down Day 103

I had the weirdest dreams this morning. I woke sometime after four, nature called, then went back to sleep - and that's when the weird dreams started. At least, the one's I remember.

Mippies featured heavily. Janey and Mewthos were in danger from a dark spirit, I had no means to fight it, but flew to their aid anyway ... Then there was some red-haired knight in shining armour, who rescued my mippies and held them out to me.

And then real life mippies knocked over my cigarette stuff from one shelf, then jumped onto the other shelf and knocked that off a well! Good morning!

By now it was quite late, so I didn't have time to drink any coffee. Just cleaned the litter box, got dressed, made coffee to go and went. Half an hour late for work!

Mini came to cuddle under the duvet for a while last night, and after she left, Mewthos crawled in for a cuddle. I love it when they cuddle and purr so loud! They are quite puzzled about this whole new routine happening ... I hope the adapt, again.

Okay, after last night's stress about this whole cigarette making thing, I've thrown in the towel - temporarily! I've bought cigarettes, so that this week's evenings I can get back to my 'normal' work evening routine - without the extra work. Then, Friday afternoon I can start experimenting, without pressure. Wash one leaf, take it through the process, smoke it and see if that's fine. The only trouble is that the washing and the drying take time ... I also bought papers, which will definitely work better than my 'made from receipts'! Ha Ha!

Back at home, mippies rush past me at top speed! I carry everything inside, including the Fit 32, which was delivered today. I wash the dishes - I doubt I'd have the energy for that tomorrow night, then I go look for mippies. Only Mewthos is back ... I light a cigarette and start calling! Mini shows up, Mewthos shows a desire to go off again, Janey arrives so I 'munchie' lure them inside! Giving them their preferred treat tonight! Ziva came a little later - not much later, though. She wouldn't even go to her bowl - like she's given up on getting yummy munchies ever again? Well, eventually I get hold of her, pick her up and she starts eating happily as well! No shenanigans from anyone tonight, strangely enough! I give milkies, I fry my steak and share it generously with all four mippies - everybody is happy, now! They've curled up on the bed - all four of them!

I've only sat down a few minutes ago - been busy with all the chores and mippies, showering, litter box, etc ... and it's eight at night! This isn't living!

I've had a talk with my boss today, or rather, I asked him what's the plan. He told me that, for now, I should work normal hours and he'll see how it goes (with the business, financially). From the way things are going with the part of the business I see, I have a feeling I'll be on 'short time' one of these days. Short time, as in working fewer hours. Ideally, I should work towards putting my suggestion in place - that I can do most of my work from home, charge per result and only come in on a 'per hour' basis, for exceptions.

Well, that's about all for today. Lunch is packed, and I'm ready to join my mippies!
