Another good night and I even woke up early! Mippies were let out earlier than they expected, too! No complaints - but Ziva was a little puzzled. She stayed inside, looking at me, then looking at the open door, back at me ... then she went out.
I thought, if I let them out early, they'd come in early for their Siesta ... nope. Oh, they came, one by one, but never the whole lot of them. Eventually I carried them inside, one by one by one by one! Seriously! I then gave them a treat, then went to get milk.
I saw the garage and the front door were closed, so I figured he's not home. I rang anyway and waited. As I was waiting, a car came down the drive-way - it was the farmer. He had to go and get a part - told me the police stopped him and they had to prove their trip was essential. Sigh, this is really not good. Anyway, I got my milk and arranged to pick up the other 2 liter on Tuesday.
I'm still in pain. Comes and goes. All day long. Oh, and just to add to my fun, I got my period today! First one this year. So, still no good days in sight. I tried medication again - but frankly, it's getting too much for comfort, so I'm now white-knuckling through the waves of pain. Salt water no longer works. Nor does mouthwash, nor brushing my teeth. Well, no longer every time. Sometimes it still works. But the pain goes away of its own ... eventually ... for a while.
By late afternoon, I usually feel better - just not good enough to start the day. Well, I swept the place, did the essentials - just couldn't decide about cooking. I still have enough from yesterday, and could always add a soup, if I'm still hungry. The problem is, though: I'm not hungry! I have to force myself to eat, because I need food - don't want to add a headache into this fun mix!
Well, I'll need something tomorrow - and I can worry about that tomorrow.
Mewthos had me worried tonight - he just wouldn't come home! He's so rarely the last to come home, he usually helps herd the ladies inside! I was getting almost frantic, when he came strolling through the gate! I was so glad, I picked him up and held him for a minute! Then put him down inside ... and he promptly came outside again to help me herd the ladies in! Lady, actually ... the Mini, as usual! At least she didn't make me play 'catch' tonight, but I always have to pick her up and carry her inside. Mewthos obviously likes the idea, because he wouldn't come inside ... but waited, flopped on the ground, for me to come, pick him up and carry him inside ... again! All the while, purring up a storm!
I gave them one sachet and half the tin of chicken in gravy. They are accepting what I'm giving them - I think they understand there's a necessity behind it, not bad will. They are really such darlings - except when they let me freak out with worry before coming home at night!
Well, hopefully tomorrow I'll have a better day ... half-way normal would be good. I need to get busy with something to get myself out of this lethargy, or I could end up really depressed.
Mippies have settled on my bed again ... time to join them ...
