Lock-down Day 17

I went to bed a bit late, so I woke a bit late as well. I won the morning 'fastest draw' competition, so I shut off the alarm and turned over.

I got up about quarter to eight. I shouldn't continue that trend, though - I'll have a tough time reverting back to normal!

Having an unproductive day today. Played my game, washed the dishes, cooked Burritos - well, it's not much cooking, just the mince. I was a bit sad to see it was my topside mince, which I had set aside for something special ... ah, well. And the Burrito kit didn't include the correct stir-in sauce, though I'm not complaining, as it was unusually low on beans, which aren't good for my colon anyway. The tortilla's are unpleasantly dry, but that's my own fault - been 'hoarding' the kit for too long, again. On the whole, though, I'm quite enjoying the Burritos.

I decided to take a turn at gardening again - haven't been anywhere near the beds in weeks. The Cosmos are getting quite dry and have spread most of their seeds - gosh, they've grown awfully tall here! I almost need an ax! Kidding, they still come out easily enough - but they are really tall! As tall as I am, in fact. And there's one, in the corner, even with my arms outstretched, I can't reach the flowers! It's as tall as a tree!

Nothing more to say about today ... Day 17 of 35. At the end of today, 80k tested, 2173 positive, 410 recoveries and 25 deaths.

Tonight Mewthos decided to give this game of catch a try! Sigh, I rely on HIM to HELP me catch the truants, not to play truant himself! Fortunately, he's not very good at it - he just meandered a few steps onto the lawn, flopped down and let me carry him inside! He is such a goofball!
