I woke surprisingly early! Giving me time for, not only coffee, but also breakfast! A leisurely start to the day.

I just received mail from the HiFi Corporation, about the vacuum sealer I ordered. Unfortunately they are out of stock and won't receive any stock in the future - would I like a refund and have the 'other unit you purchased' delivered?

Uhm ... hello? The 'other unit' is a roll of plastic FOR the vacuum sealer! What good is that without the vacuum sealer?

A good salesman would have offered me an alternative, but ... that requires thinking. So, I replied that I want a refund for the full order. Let's see how that goes down.

Unfortunately, that also means that I'm going to be without a vacuum sealer ... which I so dearly wished to procure before the holidays! Back to the drawing board, I suppose ... but scratch HiFi Corp off the list of options! Honestly, delivery was due this week - and at the very last minute they only realise 'Oops' - that doesn't inspire confidence!

Later I got a mail confirming my order is cancelled and I'll be refunded soon ...

At home, I just started with a walk around the garden and ended up clearing the bed around the cosmos and sowing more flower seeds. By the time I was getting to the last few patches, it started drizzling somewhat ... I watered anyway ... and it rained a little. Not much, though, good thing I watered. And then I decided to move the Pelargonium out of its pot and into the garden. Got quite a lot done ...

I also had several milk shakes ... or smoothies - whatever you want to call them. Loving the ice cold drink on a hot evening!
