Disturbed night, lickey wakey ... and when I didn't play the 'wakey' part, my hair was pulled out from under the duvet. Tsk Tsk.

Still, I was somewhat late, so I went to work without coffee and made it just in time.

Nothing much to tell at work, except that my cat food delivery arrived! Cool! Lots of lovely new goodies for mippies!

On the way home, I stopped and got another bottle of milk. At home, my bread was still baking, so I sat outside with mippies - and today, I decided to let mini mippie out as well. She didn't run far, but investigated happily dashing this way and that! She played 'catch' with Ziva - who wasn't impressed. Mewthos also kept an eye on our mini, so only Janey had gone for a far stroll. We had to wait somewhat for her to come home - I eventually went inside, gave the three their treats then went back out to wait for her. It wasn't a long wait, though.

Then, into the kitchen. The bread came out lovely, even though I had experimented by adding some seeds. I fried myself a Schnitzel, without any trimmings, and for my mippies I fried some chicken liver.

I was just telling a colleague the other day, that I can just see myself cooking two meals every night, then setting the table for five and we all sit at or on the table for dinner! Ha Ha Ha! Well, I didn't go that far. They do prefer their food on the floor. Ziva quite often takes a tidbit in her mouth and runs off to put it down on the floor, where she can get at it from different angles.

They enjoyed the chicken liver, so I'll be doing that again! I only gave them about half, so tomorrow night they get the rest. Oh, and I heard Tynx growling for the first time! Ha ha! She had a piece of liver in her mouth and this deep menacing growl was coming from her!

After dinner, I washed the dishes, so now my kitchen is lovely and clean again. Well, I should still clean the floor, but ... baby steps, okay?

Small issue with the new cat food: when I opened the bag, using the provided strap - it opened completely, and I can't zip it. The zip on the one side has come off the pack, so it isn't closing the bag. Considering the price, that's something of an issue. Well, I used one of my devices.

This morning I woke up with all four mippies on the bed with me. I struggled somewhat to come out, as it was quite cold - but then I had a hot flush and: Viola! I threw off the covers and popped out of bed like a jack-in-the-box! Who'd have thought they could be useful, on occasion?

Anyway, I got to work quite early, as a result ...
