Missing Schlecki

My mippies ran outside as usual, when I got home - but came and sat around me ... looking for Tynx! There's a mip missing for sure. I had to comfort Mewthos several times, telling him that our mini will be coming back, that if she wasn't I would be so upset and not to worry.

I also gave them only two sachets, which upset Mewthos as well. And then, for dinner, I ate no meat - and nobody got any of my food! I let them sniff the Knödel and the sauce ... they didn't like the smell of either.

Then, later in the evening, the ladies cuddled together in the armchair, Mewthos kept wandering around looking for Tynx! I picked him up and cuddled him, but he stayed restless. He looked under my duvet, under the feather duvet and kept patrolling around the window sill looking for our missing mip.

Although I was able to sleep through most of the night - no licky wakey during the night, just the bathroom calls - I didn't wake up very early. I woke around six, and left without my morning coffee, yet again.

I've got my phone out, so I can see any calls - since I don't hear or feel when it rings - in case they call to let me know how the operation went. I try not to worry, but it's a little different than it was with the others. The others were done by experienced vets, mini will be done by a student, albeit under close supervision. But the facility has a very good reputation, and - after all - every vet has learned at Onderstepoort.

Oh, and I just got a message that my delivery should arrive today! I quite enjoy getting these deliveries every week!

I'm planning on a shopping trip 3rd week of September, though I'm not sure if that's the best time, as the 24th is a public holiday - the roads might be busy with people going on a short getaway? Maybe I should go next week? Friday the 13th? Hmmm ... I'll see.
