Evening with Miss Underfoot

I think Tynx knows that something is coming - she is under my feet non-stop. I get up, she's there. I move, she mips and follows then runs ahead. She keeps looking at me, yet without any evidence of concern. Right now she's teasing poor Ziva - all she has to do is move towards Ziva, that has Ziva running away!

I've taken the cat carrier and cleaned it, and I've packed her some toys and food. I keep telling her it's only for two sleeps! I hope she understands and won't be too afraid. I wish there was something more I could do, some way I could make her understand. But she's such a cuddle darling, and there will be veterinarian students there all day who - I'm sure - will give her lots of cuddles! Very, very different from being abandoned! So, I'm sure she will know that she isn't being abandoned again - though she'll still be scared.

That's pretty much what's been going through my head most of today. There's nothing I can do about anything else. The one colleague has been diagnosed with 'mere' food poisoning, I haven't heard from the other, yet.

Well my mippies have all settled down for the night ... I think I'll join them! Well, the one's which settled on the bed, anyway. That would be Mewthos and Tynx.
