Shopping around

Okay, I've scheduled cat food orders - after looking at my past orders. Turns out, I haven't been spending as much as I had thought - but then again, that's because I'd add junk food into the mix, aka Whiskas. Now, let's see how it goes, and I can always reduce the quantities.

Next, I looked forward to ordering my juice! And then I learned that shipping costs as much as my entire order! Doubling the cost of every item! Yikes! Sorry, but that's beyond my means. I suppose it's that insulated container which keeps the juice frozen. Pity, because I had really looked forward to those!

Last, I went for my groceries - only to find that all the items I would like to replace are STILL on order! No stock! They've been on order for three weeks now! I think, next week, I'll place an order with ONLY those 'on order' items. For now, I'm just replenishing my chocolate.

Then I washed the dishes - which wasn't much, since I did the worst lot during the week - and then made my goulash! Turned out really nice! I didn't go overboard, so I was able to finish the meal - and not have to eat it for the next couple of days!

I haven't done much this weekend - I spent too much time on that game, I'm afraid. I haven't even set foot outside all weekend! Well, it has been quite cold, but still. Mippies were in and out and in and out and in and out all day! I kept mini inside, so I had to play doorman again. Next weekend, I'll have to wash the floors again, though.

Mini still isn't picking at her stitches - shame, it looks like she's got a little sausage under her tummy! With blue threads! I don't think I need to put the cone on her, I think she's still too sore to pick at them. She also takes great care not to jump, not even from the bed! Whenever possible, she finds a means to walk off any height. I'll take her on Friday to have the stitches removed and then, next weekend, she can go outside again with the rest of my mippies! She's been really brave and very patient about it, though! She really is such a darling! I'm happy to see that Mewthos finally stopped hissing and swatting at her, even the other two are calming down again. Hopefully, soon, things will be back to where they were before her op and then she can move forward, integrating herself into our happy little society! I'm so sorry she had to take such a large leap backwards, after having come so far!

Oh, and her boyfriend has been around! First night she was home, he serenaded outside the kitchen window! She came to the window and, I'm guessing she told him off, because he left. He came back yesterday, keeping Mewthos away and out - but Tynx was shut inside, so eventually, he left again.

I've been going to bed really late all weekend, and getting up just as late. Time to break that stride ...
