Tough day

I took a few photos of the moon rise last night – it looked almost blood-red when it first appeared, as it rose higher it looked first yellow then the normal white.

Work was awful. Spent the whole day investigating the fire-incident. To quote House “Everybody lies!” Blatantly. To my face. If I had the time, I would do a thorough investigation. As I was leaving, the site manager went to talk to the client. Tell them what really happened and find out whether I need to continue investigating until I can prove it, or whether we can put it to rest (as in take the preventative action recommended in my report and leave it at that). Either way, I will have to put more time into Health & Safety – since this investigation clearly proved that I can rely on no-one. I always hated babysitting!

At home my neighbour is finally well enough, and the weather warm enough, for her to sit in her usual place on the porch – and we had a lovely long chat. Gosh, I missed that! If the temperature hadn’t dropped suddenly, nor the wind made an appearance – we’d still be standing chatting!

This weekend I want to dedicate some time again to my patch of joy! There’s new flowers sprouting, some weeds and it just needs attention. It looks like either an Iris or a Daffodil is pushing up a flower – silly me for not knowing which is which. The patch along the path alongside the house needs attention as well.

Once inside, I caught up with my game, watered all my pot plants (one of the succulents is about to bloom!), and watched Silver explore as far as my bedroom! After a while I tiptoed in to see where she was but couldn’t see her. When I switched on the light she dashed out from under the bed and ran straight out the door! Shortly afterwards my neighbours cat showed up again! What if he’s only eating here to court Silver? Hmm. Anyway, I gave him a stern look. He looked back equally sternly. I spoke up. He ran away. Finally Ginger showed up, sneezing several times even before he to a chance to eat. And now I’m writing this blog – it’s half past eight! I’m going to skip uploading the photo’s tonight, as I want to try and get an even better shot of the moon rising just now. Skipping dinner, too – just had a chunk of cheese.
