Lock-down Day 722

I didn't mention Janey's extreme cuddle needs yesterday. While I was weeding, she came running at top speed mipping at me for cuddles. Again and again and again. She's jump on my lap, on my back, and just mipped and cuddled and cuddled and cuddled. That didn't stop when we went inside, either! She smells a bit of baby oil - probably from the ultra sound - and Mewthos keeps hissing at her, even swatting at her to stay away.

Oh, and her vet bill was much lower than I had feared!

Back at home, I continue pulling out the horrid grass. Making good progress - though I don't really see it. It feels like I'm endlessly cleaning without any real visible change.

I also discovered a bed covered in horned melons! That red rose bed, where this squash or melon like creepers seemed to be taking over ... it's completely covered! Since they grew wild, I'm not going to take the chance of eating them, though. I don't know enough to be sure.

Apparently the bright orange is ripe, the yellow are probably overripe? I don't know ...

I wasn't up to writing last night. Once inside, I treated mippies, bathed, fried myself dinner, shared with only Ziva and Mini, then settled down for the night ...
