Ziva is fine!
I went to check on her a few times last night, and when she started purring one of those times, when I scratched her chin, I felt reassured. This morning, no mip mewled for me to get up - even though it was past six, which worried me at first. I got up and unlocked the gate - Ziva was sitting in the middle of the kitchen, waiting for her breakfast!
It's raining. So much of mippies' outies! They are not happy. Ziva has claimed my armchair again, Mewthos is mewling for attention, Janey is mipping to be let on my shoulder and Mini is pawing at my back!
Looks like it's likely to rain throughout the day - on and off. So, what shall I do?
Mewthos is not giving me any peace! Outies wets, so: mommy play! They're all bored, and all want mommy to entertain them ... including Ziva, who is completely back to her normal self!
I wonder if there's something wrong with me now - I just voluntarily washed the dishes! Ha Ha!
Sigh, I was wondering how long this would last ... all this rain, and we've had electricity throughout ... well, today was the day! Fortunately just two hours outage, still - why does rain have any effect on electricity supply?
I started reading a book, that I've been meaning to read for ages. As Mini came for a cuddle, I saw that she's got a hole at the base of her tail! Gosh, how could I not have seen that before? It's huge! Well, no infection, apparently, though the surrounding area seems swollen. I've cleaned it and put ointment on it. It doesn't seem to worry her in the least, though ...
Well, my butterflies should arrive tomorrow - still in time, at least!
At just called. His wife and his daughter were in a very serious accident. I gather his wife is really bad ... he was, naturally, very emotional and I couldn't make too much sense of what he said. I just called my boss to let him know that At won't be coming in ... which, I think, was the reason he called me.
Well, not much of a day ... nice and lazy ...
