Lock-down Day 293

I had a really nasty dream this morning! I was stuck in a tiny flat, trying to move out, but the owner just blocked every exit! It was a real relief waking up to find that that particular nightmare is already behind me! I've already moved, and I'm in a really lovely, spacious home! Where nobody intrudes on my privacy! Sheez, I hope I will shake those memories soon! I'm tired of them popping up when I least expect them!

I struggled to really wake up, after that. Not even coffee could shake the feeling ... as a result, I was somewhat late for work. No worries, though.

I seriously considered calling in sick, this morning. I really felt deflated ... that hasn't improved much. Growing old is not for sissies, ha ha! Just gotta hope tomorrow is better - and trudge along through the day.

I took a different approach to my evening: I started by doing the indoor chores; litter boxes and lunch. Then I went into the garden. Well, not quite - first, before anything, I fed Smeagol! Tonight he strolled to his food bowl with his tail in the air, for the first time! Usually he slinks along, with his tail low ... so now I know: he's definitely male, and not neutered. Sigh ...

Tonight's gardening was not so hard, just clearing grass and weeds out of the loosened soil. Re-loosening it - but not hard labour. Mini and Mewthos did their part: Mini piddled in the freshly cleaned bed, Mewthos piddled in a place, I still have to clean. I figured, that's my mark: so far and no further tonight! Ha Ha! I suppose, since I dig up everything he buries in the litter box, he thought he'd leave something for me where I'm already digging!

And guess what I'll do next? I mean, when the bed is finished. No? Well, when I straightened the sprinkler, I noticed that the bed I had just planted is already covered in a carpet of green sprouts! I'll have to re-weed that entire bed again. Soon! The one in front of that is also filling up and the weeds are growing ... 

Ah, well. One day at a time. I also need to get on with the mowing, or the cutting they've done for me will have been for nothing! So much work, so little time! Ha Ha!

Anyway, tonight, I will get to bed earlier than last night. I've had dinner, shared, of course, and it's quarter to nine ... and I'm about to go to bed, watch an episode, then sleep.
