At work, the printer decision is still hanging over me ... I have a feeling the decision has been made, that I don't need a printer, so I had better resign myself to that. Which is seriously de-motivating me.
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised when some of the seeds arrived! I had ordered them only yesterday! I'm impressed! My groceries arrived half an hour later! Ooooh, what fun!
At home, I first spent an hour watering my garden, as Leon had switched the sprinklers on. I gave him half the bell pepper seeds - he didn't seem impressed, though. Anyway, I am happy with the diatomaceous earth I got and happily rubbed it into Mewthos and Ziva, who were both under my feet the entire evening!
I'm also happy with the air plant I got! It's mounted on wood, so I just left it in its box for now and put it up on a bookshelf. For now. Oh, and I sprayed it with some water, of course.
When I went inside to get some milk for myself - all four mippies came inside and trotted happily towards their feeding bowls ... okay, so we come in early! Afterwards, they checked to see whether I had left the door open, ha ha!
I also got a call from a friend who wants to come visit me this weekend. It would be nice to see her again, as I haven't seen her since I moved to PE!
Leon gave me two large zucchini he says came from my garden! How could I have missed them? They are not the one's I'm still waiting to pick - those two are still growing nicely. I also sprinkled some of the diatomaceous earth over my veggie patch and the bulb patch, I'm hoping that will deter the ants from nesting there.
Since I hadn't taken out anything for dinner, I cut all the vegetables I had harvested, including the zucchini, and added some boiled pasta, then tossed a raw egg through everything with some lemon juice. Mippies were disappointed, but I quite enjoyed my dinner. I had made enough to take to work as well - and I took out a nice big T-bone steak for tomorrow night!
And that's pretty much all to be said ...
