Not much to tell about Thursday, frankly, I don't really remember Thursday. Oh, yes, that was the day of crazy last-minute production for delivery at five! For myself, I'm not doing much work at the moment, just the bare essentials (like everybody else) while I wait to hear whether I'm going back to manual systems or whether I can go forward with the current systems, where I need to print regularly.
On Friday the Seeds for Africa arrived! Yay! I'm in heaven! I started downloading and reading some of the guidelines, how to get them growing - yikes! Some of them are really very complex! And not all of them are good for the current season - actually, most are best for either Spring, late Summer or Autumn.
After work, I took a trip to get more Potting Soil. Again, even though there was quite some traffic by the toll gate, it cost me only half an hour.
At home, I started a Gardening Journal! Hand written. Why? Well, it's to keep track of seeds I've sown and what's started to poke through when. And the reason I keep it hand written is, so that I can do it outside, with my mippies - not inside, here, at my PC. And I can always look up anything I'd like to include in this blog.
I did sow some seeds already, and I sorted through my collection - I've taken out some packets of seeds to give to a colleague. I'm beginning to think that, with all those seeds I now have, I've bitten off a little more than I can chew!
Back inside, feeding my mippies - the little one makes me laugh! She still dashes straight to the litter box when everyone comes inside, and when I get to Janey's bowl, she dashes out - regardless whether she's finished or not! Quite a few times now, she's dashed out before she had time to cover!
I made a bit of a mistake, though. I made myself a nice, ice cold milk shake and then took the first few sips too fast! The ice cold hitting my overheated system didn't do me good - my stomach thinks it's now time for a marathon!
