I don't know what was up with Mewthos last night, but he woke me up just after midnight absolutely insisting on cuddles. He wouldn't let me grab him, though, but eventually he crawled under the duvet with me and purred up a storm. Later he twirlied my jersey onto the bed, then curled up half on the jersey and half on my legs, waking me up again. This morning he was full of beans again, mewling and bouncing off the walls like a happy kitty!
Well, I was up early, thanks to Mew-Mew. As always, I'm not allowed to have milk in my coffee, unless I'm willing to share - Ziva has that down to a fine art, by now! On Sunday she was high up in the tree, trying to reach a birdie ... I opened the fridge, and whoosh! She was under my feet, mipping for her share of milk!
Since I'm the one cleaning their litter box, I know for certain that none of my mippies are lactose intolerant, so it's safe to let them enjoy milk as a treat. It is too cute when all three stick their head over the bowl, lapping daintily - except for Mewthos, of course, he slurps noisily!
At work, I'm getting somewhat frustrated with the stock discrepancies which continue ... I can't figure out how or where. It's not shrinkage (the politically correct word for theft nowadays) and it's not the storeman's negligence. He is quite conscientious in his work. So, yeah - it's a frustrating puzzle.
Back at home, the first thing I did was gobble a bar of chocolate! Feeling much better now, thank you! Working on switching off work and switching on 'home'. Mippies had fun running around - they love that first walk through the garden when I first come outside, especially since I didn't water tonight.
I'm hoping for a lovely day tomorrow, so that I'll be a different person by Thursday.
