Lock-down Day 696

Earlier morning, got up at six. Since the power is on, I can make myself filter coffee for a change. Mippies are out and about ... well, sort of. Ziva has demanded cuddles, Mini wanted some milk, Janey is curled up on the nightstand. I wonder what I'll do today?

Just past eight, and I've taken care of the last of my furniture in the lounge: the shelf I use as a pantry. Floor scrubbed, skirting treated (though not sprayed), shelf treated, now I just need to re-pack it.

I packed some extra things into boxes; teas, baking stuff, spices. Labelled the boxes and put them on top of the cupboard.

I tried saving one of my favourite books, which got totally soaked: Terry Prattchet's The Last Hero. It's the book I used to 'read' to my nephew, when he was very small. Every page is covered in illustrations by Paul Kidby. It's awesome! Only ... I can't separate pages without tearing ... now I'm just so sad ...

The rest of the day, I just relaxed. I didn't feel like doing anything, so I didn't. Oh, I baked my bread, and I'll pack my lunch, but that's it. I've done plenty this weekend, so ... it's cool.

Internet has been awful all weekend. Ah, well ...
