Lock-down Day 690

Early morning. Mippie breakfast - Mini joined us. Coffee. Off to work.

Traffic.

A bit late for work. Very busy ... I went to exchange the car battery ... and they put the old one back! Huh? They claim there is nothing wrong with it. 

Well, in that case, I'm keeping the vet appointment for 10:30 - so that, if the car gives me any trouble, I have enough time to hopefully make a plan.

Right. I've placed the order for Whiskas, Mini's de-wormer and a spot-on treatment for all mippies. Had to buy 2 packs, as they come in packs of 3. I looked at a couple of products. One didn't specify how many were in the pack, yet the price indicates it must be for 3. Not taking the chance. The other 3 options all seemed to be the same - treating the same parasites, lasting the same amount of time, covering the same weights ... so I took the cheapest. Revolution, a brand one of the vets also used.

Next, I need to order groceries. Faithful to Nature. Since I don't know when I'll get my January pay, I'll have to be economic ...

Done. I decided to give a new multi-vitamin a try - the one I've been using for years no longer fits in my budget. Other than that, I just bought flour, detergent and ... one bar or chocolate. My favourite - Eat Naked - are still sold out, so ... 

Anyway, I still have enough money to pay the rent. Just ...

Well, I should have 3 more cardboard boxes to use for drying books soon. Zuki is sending another batch of treats, ePet treats and meds and FTN something for me. Well, mostly to clean, but also one chocolate. Two boxes of treats for mippies and one treat for mommy! Ha Ha, sounds about right, doesn't it?

Back at home, I felt like tackling the grapevine ... it's turning yellow, and I feel like a bit of outside work. Inside miffs ... damp ... but first: Janey's medication! A battle! She does NOT want to take her tablet! Spat it out three times!

As I was busy outside, I suddenly hear a major cat fight! Outside the gate! I know Smeagol is involved ... where's Janey? Can't find her! Dash inside, get the keys, run like an idiot, screaming ... outside! Then I see the ginger cat running head-for-tails back home!

Janey is sitting atop the fridge! Cool as a cucumber! Safe and sound!

Back inside ... not much to tell. Janey is eating normally, Mini is also back to her normal self - came and sat in her usual spot for her treat. And ate, as usual. Mewthos is mewling at me ... Ziva is mipping for cuddle cave ... all's well in my little family!
