I woke up to Mewthos pulling out my hair! Yeah, he does that quite often. Well, the pulling my hair out part is merely collateral - he goes and stands on my pillow, opens the curtains to look out the window ... his paws just happen to be near the top of my head, catching my hair. It happens every now and again ... when I don't get up as early as mippies would like me to.
I'm not feeling too good this morning. I feel feverish, but my temperature registers as normal. Bit of a headache, so I've taken some Grand-Pa.
Looks like the rain is over, for the time being. Eloise has either dissipated or moved on. So I have to adjust my gardening schedule accordingly. Instead of weeding, I should now turn to making that bed along the wall, which I've been planning for some time, now. That needs deep digging, and pulling some big weeds & grass-like toughies out. I just hope I feel up to that tonight.
My delivery has arrived! More Whiskas and the crafting toys! Now ... what shall I craft? Well, it has to be something very simple, because I can't sculpt worth jack!
Just got a call from the manager at home: no power. It's been reported and they're told 'the technician is on his way', but ... that's as much information as we'll ever get. We'll only know when we'll have power, when the lights go on. Which also means, that I can't do any heavy work in the garden tonight ... in case the power doesn't come back in time for me to shower! Sigh ...
I also asked about the dead trees, and was told there is no way the excavator (caterpillar) can access them. Pity! Would have been a quick fix!
I think I'll publish this blog now ... I'm a little miffed at some emotional blackmail I'm now receiving via WhatsApp, so I don't really feel like communicating ...
